Red Diamond gave me a chance to express creativity. We were given a boutique hotel with our choice of location. I chose the Redwood Forest. The goal of Red Diamond was for the users of the space to be able to relax in comfort, but still experience the beauty of the forest around them. I designed the dining space with white brick and a live wall, giving the space a natural and simple look. These materials were chosen because I wanted the focus of the space to be the large windows, showcasing the beauty of the Redwood Forest around them.
